What is SafeSport?
SafeSport provides information for all members of the sports community, to understand what misconduct is and provide a pathway to report misconduct. Please visit SafeSport and go to the ABOUT tab to learn more. Washington Youth Soccer supports this initiative and we need everyone to participate.

Emotional Misconduct
Physical Misconduct
Sexual Misconduct, including Child Sexual Abuse

Why SafeSport?
Sport provides athletes with an opportunity to develop specific athletic skills, as well as life skills. Unfortunately, sport can also be a high-risk environment for misconduct and abuse.

If you see something, say something
Report to Risk Manager
Report it to the Sports Center Created by the Statute
Report to Local Law Enforcement

Once you have completed the training you should upload the certificate to your user profile at Affinity.

Individuals will then be asked to create an account.
The participating organization is US Soccer.
All participating adults and minors are required to complete training videos prior to September 1, 2019. Participating adults and minors include: Contractors, volunteer referees, any paid staff (i.e.: personal trainers, massage therapist, office staff)
SafeSport completion certificates will be required for participation.
Required to be verified by the organization administrator.
Training is required annually.
